Under the Chairmanship of Dr. John Skeen, the publication of AGRED's definitive guide to the gamebird species in southern Africa is nearing completion and will be on sale towards the end of this year.
Renowned wildlife artist Ms Penny Meakin who was commissioned to produce the illustrations, has nearly completed her extremely detailed and demanding task ,and the final touches are being made to the extensive texts by author Dr. Slang Viljoen.
There will be a special collectors' edition as well as an Afrikaans edition. Members will be able to reserve a copy on a first-come-first-served basis by paying the AGRED Secretary in advance, once final pricing has been set. Watch this space for future progress reports.
