Artists for AGRED

AGRED art exhibitions over the last few years have given members access to some of the world's leading wildlife artists at prices unavailable to the general public. Artists such as Keith Joubert, Paul Augustinus, Andrew Murray, John Meyer, Neil Rodger and Dr. Butch Smuts have all actively supported AGRED fundraising events.

This support has been mutually beneficial in most cases.
For example, the (now) famous sculptor, Dylan Lewis held his debut exhibition of wildlife bronzes as an AGRED function held at Little Brenthurst in Johannesburg in 1993. This exposure led to further commissions and invitations from overseas galleries, and thence to international acclaim.

Dylan has directly supported AGRED by donating some of his most handsome pieces to AGRED fundraising auctions, where they have attracted admirable bids. He remains a committed conservationist and supporter (see his work on www.dylanlewis.co.za)

AGRED is fortunate to have the world famous silver sculptor, Patrick Mavros of Zimbabwe as a Trustee. Patrick has been exceptionally generous over the years, donating several major works, including one of his amazing silver Baobab Trees, to AGRED fundraising auctions. You can view the treasury of Mavros sculpture on www.patrickmavros.com (the image above is of one of Patrick's sculptures).

Members can, by arrangement, purchase artworks from the ‘Artists for AGRED’ at preferential prices. These artists have agreed to donate a small percentage of their sale proceeds.

Please contact the AGRED secretary for details.
